About Jackie
Jackie Plastino has been a photographer for over forty years. Her love for travel and appreciation for diverse cultures have taken her to more than 23 countries, always with a camera in hand. Most recently she has spent a great deal of time in Argentina, Mexico and her home state of Idaho. Her vagabond heart is calling her to more wandering.
She says: “In my life I have had the great good fortune of being surrounded at every turn by beauty. I began photographing probably forty years ago when I started traveling in earnest.
I can see in my work the reflection of my love for nature. I have always been drawn outdoors. I am mesmerized by mist over a quiet morning lake, the play of sun and shadow on landscape, the dance of light on water. My aim is to transmit that sense of wonder through my photography.”
