From the time I was a young girl, I have been drawn to Chinese paintings of bamboo against mountains that seem to rise straight up to the sky.  Recently, I had the opportunity to visit and photograph those mountains.  All these photos were taken in the Yangshuo area of the Guilin province.  The photos on this page are just a small representation of my collection.  Contact me to see more.
